The Challenge

Crossing three sovereign territories required simultaneous regulatory approvals in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, while extreme temperature swings (-45 °C to +55 °C) dictated specialised coating and cathodic protection systems.

02

Our Solution

A dedicated regulatory affairs team ran parallel approval tracks in all three countries. We selected a high-build epoxy-polyurethane coating system and installed impressed-current cathodic protection every 20 km, backed by a 400-node SCADA network for continuous integrity monitoring.

03

The Outcome

Pipeline commissioned on schedule, transporting 12 billion cubic metres of gas annually. SCADA network achieved 99.97% uptime in year one. The project received EBRD environmental and social compliance clearance.

Managing a cross-border pipeline of this complexity is a feat few contractors can achieve. Inanli's regulatory expertise and technical rigour made the difference.
